I’m Karen, aka Hobo

I’ve lived in Portsmouth all my adult life and have owned dogs for over 30 years, getting my first dog, a German Shepherd, when I was eighteen.

During my years of dog ownership, I have had both large and small dogs, some from puppy others from rescue and am currently owned by a Spinone, Meg.

We enjoy long country walks, time at the beach and camping. We participate in dog agility, which is definitely Meg’s favourite hour of the week, and took part in the agility display at Newtown Village Fete with our agility club.

Our story

During my childhood I had various small pets and started a Pet Club at school. I’ve brought my children up with animals in their lives and over the years we have been fortunate enough to have owned Gerbils, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Chinchillas, Degus, Terrapins, Cold Water and Tropical Fish, Cockatiels, Budgies, Lovebirds, Cats and Dogs.

With the help of my granddaughter, we participated in the Muddy Dog Challenge to raise funds to support the valuable work undertaken by Battersea.

I have a passion for dogs of all shapes and sizes and am excited to be able to walk and care for your pet when you’re working or unable to walk them, giving you peace of mind and your dog a stimulating walk.
